April Chapple - Executive Administrator
BA in Anthropology from City University of New York, Hunter College
April Chapple is the Vice President and Executive Administrator of Luminati Aerospace. Born and raised in Washington State, she moved to New York immediately after high school and studied photography from 1990 to 1993, later graduating cum laude from City University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and minor studies in archaeology. In 1993, she worked alongside architect Nasser Nakib to establish and operate his high end architecture and interior design studio in Manhattan. Chapple handled many aspects of the business and was responsible for financial accounts, client contracts, preparation of proposals, project schedules and construction bid analyses.
In 2004, after numerous visits to Turkey, Chapple made Istanbul her home and spent more than ten years there as a photographer, editor, and language consultant collaborating on a vast array of projects, from advertising campaigns and translated novels to annual sustainability reports for international pharmaceutical firms. Chapple was also a participant in three art exhibitions in Istanbul: The 14th Annual Art Fair: Kooperatif: Kablo - short film and photo installation, AIA World Congress of Architecture: Kacak Group - Attic - mixed media tunnel installation, and Lexicon: a photograph, painting and sculpture exhibition.
In early 2015, after ten years abroad, Chapple returned to New York to take on her current position at Luminati Aerospace.
